Follow State Highway 1 North –
through Warkworth, and toward Wellsford…
From Auckland take state highway (SH1) past Warkworth toward Wellsford for 13.5km.
Turn right before Wellsford at the Tomarata turnoff (13.5km) up Weybe Valley Road for 5.6km –
Turn right into Whangaripo Valley Road for 500 meters –
Turn Left into Tomarata Valley Road and follow to the end (8.5km)
Turn Left into School Road and follow until you reach Ocean View Road (2.2km) and
Turn Right and follow Ocean View Road until you reach 662 Ocean View Road.
(Last 6.8km is a secondary gravel road).
You will arrive to a warm welcome at the Lake View Chalets.
